If Sophie Monk has taught us anything since The Bachelorette's premiere this week, it's that Australians love a celebrity looking for love.
The reality TV show drew an impressive 978,000 metropolitan viewers on Thursday night, after attracting and audience of 951,000 for Wednesday's series premiere.
With those kind of numbers, it's likely producers Warner Bros will be looking for a high-profile male lead to impress advertisers ahead of next year's The Bachelor.

Kris Smith set hearts aflutter when he spent many days shirtless in the South African jungle for Ten's reality TV show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! earlier this year.

Another singleton who stands a good chance of getting a call from Bachelor producers is Kris Smith's BFF and former Bachelorette star Sasha Mielczare.

Sasha - who fell in love with Sam Frost on The Bachelorette's first season - parted ways with the Home And Away star last December after 18 months together.
With Sam moving on with new boyfriend Dave Bashford, it's likely many Australians would enjoy seeing Sasha have a second chance at love on The Bachelor.
But Sasha isn't the only famous singleton on the social scene - as Allied Medical Group founder Geoffrey Edelsten is also a possible candidate.

Geoffrey Edelsten, the controversial former Sydney Swans owner, has been unlucky in love in the past.
His failed relationships with younger socialites include marriages to Brynne Edelsten (née Gorden) and retired high-class escort Gabi Grecko.
The 74-year-old's outspoken attitude, colourful style, and reputation as a ladies' man would no doubt make his season a sure-fire ratings hit.

Shane Warne
The King of Spin himself, retired Test cricketer Shane Warne, would be a welcome addition to The Bachelor family.
In fact, the 48-year-old father-of-three recently announced he was a fan of popular British reality TV series, Love Island.
Following his split from wife Simone in 2005, Shane enjoyed a high-profile romance with glamorous British actress Elizabeth Hurley.
Recently, he was linked to model Emily Sears - but with no confirmed girlfriend at the moment there is always a chance he could 'bowl a maiden over' on The Bachelor.

Richard Wilkins
Channel Nine's entertainment guru Richard Wilkins could bring his debonair charm to The Bachelor, as he is believed to be currently single.
The 63-year-old has been married four times and previously revealed on Today Extra that marriage wasn't exactly his 'specialty'.
But, nonetheless, he would enthrall the mansion with his charm and tales from his long and varied career interviewing the world's most high profile celebrities.
Jordan Barrett
He may be a globetrotting male supermodel, but Byron Bay's Jordan Barrett could make a return to Australia in a bid to find love.
The 'bad boy' of fashion has been linked to countless A-listers in the past, including Paris Hilton, Hailey Baldwin, Sofia Richie, Megan Blake Irwin, and Lara Stone.
But the 20-year-old heartthrob has yet to find 'The One' - and a stint as The Bachelor could help fix that.
Jordan, who recently won the Daily Front Row Male Model of the Year award at New York Fashion Week, would also bring his trademark sartorial style to proceedings.
